VELVET CRUSH

Slowly making the transition into autumn by inviting velvet into my wardrobe, but LA is still enjoying 80 degree weather, so it’ll be a minute before I’m completely bundled up. These velvet bells from Colors of Aurora are perfect for the approaching temperatures- not to mention incredibly comfortable (hi holiday weight). These pants have a burnout detail which gives the fabric an iridescent hue from certain angles & huge flares at the bottom which give you effortless attitude when walking.

I paired these bells with my PYLO Hot Donna Crop Top. The name is quite suiting & is a major throwback to the 70s Show. Remember that was Donna’s radio name. Remember?! Anyways, this top is great because of its lightweight & appropriately thin fabric that allows it to really shape to your body. Don’t you also love the neckline? I’ve been noticing this trend as of late & it’s a great way to highlight the shoulders. This entire top consists of one strap that wraps around the entirety of the body. Flip down below to the backside.

Love the open back with the adjustable straps. This top is the right mix of coverage in the front & party in the back.

And this hat…I don’t even know where to start. This hat is the creme de la creme of hats. I’ve been obsessed with Lack of Color since I stumbled upon their Instagram about a year ago. They set the bar for hats with their wide brims, perfect structure & color palette. So when Infinity Creative reached out to me about working with Lack of Color, who they happen to represent, I was like……EFF YES! I’m wearing the Montana Hidden Shadows, which has a three-toned structure with a deep grey brim, black bow, & light marle grey crown. This wide-brimmed fedora is the ultimate staple to any wardrobe piece & is a simple way to chic-up any look. Expect to see this beauty adorning my head in a number of my future looks. Also, a great tip from the site, if you want a softer brim, all you need to do is steam it for 30-60 seconds. On the alternative, if you want a stiffer brim (like me), then simply re-steam & lay on a flat surface overnight. xx
