Fuk u but I love u. Winding down August’s tidbits.

Hey guys! Hope you all are having a wonderful start to September. I’m currently sitting in next to nothing because it’s been so incredibly hot these days. Thank God the weather’s finally showing some mercy and cooling down. If you follow me on snapchat (username: ellen_vlora), you know my struggle since my house doesn’t have AC. Excited about cooler temperatures ahead, but even more so excited about fall threads. Even though the seasonal change in LA is subtle, I can’t wait for fall!

This past month has flown by. Where do the 30+ days go? Let’s see…what’s happened in the month of August. Well, it’s a given we went to Vegas. It was also the launch of the lolanlora x MYVL capsule collection! This was really exciting for Fran & myself since we got to design our very own collection with MYVL! If you haven’t checked it out, click me meow. We had complete creative freedom from the designs to the styling of the lookbook. We created a family of sorted pieces from a cropped set, sweater, raglan tee & a bodysuit. You can wear these pieces alone if you’re a bold gal, or style them with shorts, jeans, jackets & on. In my wardrobe I always like versatility in my pieces, and with these you can mix and match. With that in mind, we kept the color palette neutral with exception of the tie dye bodysuit. Hope you guys love the collection & complete our squad.  

And of course we had a launch party to celebrate the line. Thank you to the dolls who came through and showed their support, and for those who couldn’t be there, I felt the cyber love. Also, Kevin Hart rolled through for a quick second. He’s one of my top celebrity crushes, he’s funny as hell, how could he not be in my top 5? Check some bits & pieces from the party below:

Also! Another super dope thing from this past month. The music video for Dr Pepper by Diplo ft. CL, Riff Raff & OC Maco dropped and it’s lit. Diplo is one of my favorite producers & favorite DJ, and one of the few people I actually keep up with. So he’s sitting pretty in the #1 spot in my top 5. And CL is just queen. She’s a singer/rapper reigning from Korea, making her mark in America. Finally. I was so hyped to meet her in person. If you don’t know her already, you will soon enough.
