The vintage wave is having its time again- or at least in my wardrobe.
These days I’ve been spotlighting vintage pieces in my looks and have been passing the weekends thrift diving. There’s something about lived-in clothing with a history. Think of the endless stories each one has survived. So…you’d think this post would feature vintage pieces, but it merely tips its hat to vintage-inspired pieces.
In the fail-proof combo of a white tee and distressed denim. This is reminiscent of different stages of style, from the off-shoulder crop to the classic mini skirt that is making its way back into our lives. I paired this Are You Am I crop (which I’ve been shamelessly rewearing) with a distressed mini from Missguided, with a pair of two-tonal heels from Lulus. I was initially drawn to this heel because of the wood, black and gold accented color blocking- plus, the block heel in itself. Also, I’m no stranger to chokers, but have been opting out of the thicker, black neckwear, and gravitating towards a more minimal look. But do stack on.
