MINI VENICE ANYONE?

A quick weekend to Venice, Italy.

But on an hour and a half flight from Los Angeles.

Spent an eventful weekend filled to the brim with good eats & memories at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. One of the classic hotels on the Vegas strip with the notable gondolas and blue-sky ceilings, it was so much to experience The Venetian- through new eyes. The hotel houses some of the notable restaurants including Mott32 and Thomas Keller restaurant Bouchon. I went to Mott32for the first time this past August and the food was incredible, and this was now my 3rd time back.

Also, a key feature of The Venetian is their suite-style rooms, so it’s super spacious (lots of mirror + get ready room*) for a girls’ trip. I’ve literally lost track of how many times I’ve stayed at this hotel for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and weekend trips.

So, in my younger years, I used to go to Vegas to party until sunrise, but now I love collecting memories through dining experiences and a diversified itinerary. Scroll down to take a peek inside my trip to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

Mott32

A contemporary Hong Kong dining experience infused with a new chapter of Chinese flavor, this farm-to-table restaurant has dishes that bring together Cantonese, Szechuan and Beijing cultures.

Must order:

Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck

Soft Quail Egg, Iberico Pork, Black Truffle Siu Mai

Crispy Sugar-Coated BBQ Iberico Pork Bun

Chica

Latin American cuisine with influences from Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. I love this type of cuisine, plus all the colorful and vibrant flavors.

Must order:

Ceviche Bar

Grilled Peruvian Octopus

Grilled Angus Beef Rib-Eye

Grilled Sweet Corn Elote

I love a ceviche flight. We ordered the Peruvian Snapper Ceviche, Mexican Lobster Ceviche and Nikkei Style Ahi Tuna Ceviche.

Sixth & Mill

Pizza and pasta. Need I say more.

Hand-crafted Neapolitan style (my favorite style) pizzas + homemade fresh pasta.

Okay but how cute is this indoor patio dining right in the middle of St. Mark’s Square. Also, when we were eating, there was live music, it was a whole vibe.

Must order:

Margherita pizza

Gnocchi Sorrentina

Are you hungry yet- because I am.
