TAKE YOU DOWNTOWN

TAKE YOU DOWNTOWN

As the tune Downtown by Peaches plays in the background. A major throwback to high school days circa 06′ (Over a decade ago kids).

Styling 2 of 2 of this skirt. So, this skirt is no longer available, what a tease. But not to worry because I’ve listed happy alternatives to this look. This look is a play on how you can transform a look by switching key pieces. A default outfit of mine, but you’ll usually catch me in distressed black denim. Another key piece, behold the vintage-inspired graphic tee. A piece that virtually works anywhere, whether it’s under a pantsuit, paired with a tulle skirt, distressed jeans, fishnet stockings & the list goes on & on. Dare we say the most versatile piece? You can literally wear it from the sheets to the streets. A lot of brands have been doing vintage/graphic tee revivals. Gucci just dropped their vintage-inspired logo tees again. Listed some alternatives at the end of this post as well! Also, for those in Los Angeles, another great spot to go vintage diving is the Rose Bowl Flea Mart, which happens every 2nd Sunday of every month. Not in LA? Then check out Nasty Gal Vintage Coal Terry Vintage, Tunnel Vision, for access to vintage right at your fingertips.

Also, what a world of difference a snip to the locks can do. For the ladies (or gents) who have never experienced having hair extensions of any kind, you take for granted the ability to run your fingers through you hair. Went for the plunge and cut my hair even shorter and it’s quite liberating. Just another reminder not to get attached to things and to step out of your comfort zone. Always try new things* For those who are scared of the big chop, remember that hair always grows back.

In the meantime, digitally scroll through my spread below.

Yes! I’m starting that as a new addition to some of my posts. It’s always great to have options, plus everyone is shopping from different price points. Glad you like it! Crossroads is a good one. Also, give Wasteland a go! If can come across really good pieces, so make sure you leave time to browse. Also, thank you for those extra listings! XX
