It’s the little things.

My eyes have been wandering these days & red has been rather appealing. I recently painted my nails a deep red- which are usually nude or black, just purchased a maroon fringe purse, & the latest, this vibrant blood red boater. I love the color combination black & red, it evokes a dark yet intriguing visual. Another late obsession of mine is the vintage-inspired street look. I’ve been taking weekend trips to flea marts & rummaging through vintage closets & revived pieces. I think old is gold.

In this feature I’m wearing an oversized Elliat blazer that I love. It’s a collision of masculine & feminine. The likes of a power suit. I brought back my torn thigh- highs that have been gathering dust in my closet to bring a more grungy element to this look. The accents of this look like the hat, tight, & belt piece this fit together. The delicate choker & necklace from The2Bandits aren’t a set up don’t they look like they were made for each other. This jewelry label carries modern southwestern inspired pieces that will bring out the inner boho in you. These boots have a Cinderella story, but in this case I’m a step sister. These are actually a size 6 but your girl is a size 7, so I forced myself into these. When boots look like this, one makes an exception. My feet may be numb, but they look amazing, so it looks like it’s a happily ever after after all.

Last but not least, I finally made my transition from blogging to vlogging! It’s a visual diary of my life & coming at you in moving pixels. Starting my own YouTube channel has been on top of my list for sometime & it’s definitely a shift from just text blogging to an open dialogue- well, me just talking to you. I’m a little nervous, but mostly excited to start this next journey & get to connect with you guys on a different level.
